Ve dnech 3. až 8. července 2022 se v Praze koná devátý World Archaeological Congress. Čestným prezidentem kongresu je Prof. Miroslav Bárta, který program otevře proslovem na téma Global archaeology, the study of civilizations and the modern world.

V pondělí 4. července 2022 spoluorganizuje sekci Crafting identities through ceramic practice. Global histories on the origins of pottery technology among foragers dr. Lenka Varadzinová z ČEgÚ FF UK.
