The Czech Institute of Egyptology has the pleasure of inviting MA and PhD students registered at the Cairo University to apply for a 3-month-scholarship at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic). During their stay the students will have the opportunity to study in the library of the Institute, and consult their projects with specialists according to their field of interest.
The applicants must be currently students of an MA or PhD study program registered at the Cairo University and specialise in one of the following fields: Ancient Egyptian Archaeology, Art and History or Protection of Monuments. The applicants should provide a detailed and structured project in their field of interest (MA or PhD project) with a tentative list of objectives to be attained during their stay in Prague (3 pages), a CV including an overview of their studies and professional experience, field experience and publications (max 2 pages). The application should also include a recommendation letter of the supervisor. The applicants are expected to have good knowledge of English.
