
From 25th to 28th June 2018 the Current Research in Egyptology conference was held in Prague, at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. There were more than 100 attending people from different countries and institutions. The variety of themes was very wide, covering every period of ancient Egyptian and Nubian history, their society, religious life, material culture or archaeological excavations.
There were also six keynote lectures of experts from the Czech Institute of Egyptology, FA CU, and one guest from the University of Vienna.
