Abusir and Saqqara in the Year 2025 History and Archaeology of the Ancient Memphite Necropoleis

From June 23 to 27, 2025, the Czech Institute of Egyptology organizes the sixth Abusir and Saqqara international conference at the premises of Charles University, Prague. The five-day conference focuses on primary research covering all principal fields of Egyptology connected to relevant aspects of the history, archaeology, environmental features, philology, art history, religion and other related subjects concerning the pyramid fields and cemeteries of the Memphite region (i.e. Abusir, Saqqara, Giza, Dahshur and adjacent areas).

Conference Fees

The conference fee covers the conference materials and coffee breaks, and can only be paid online.

* The conference fee for speakers is 150 €. Payment portal here.

* The conference fee for students is 80 €. Payment portal here. Please provide us with a proof of student status at AbuSaq2025@gmail.com.

* The conference fee for visitors wishing to attend, but not presenting a paper is 100€. Payment portal here. Please register officially at AbuSaq2025@gmail.com.

The conference fee for all three categories of participants is due April 30, 2025.
