and in PDF (WITH figures). Figures should be submitted also as separate files together with the text. The deadline is 1st October 2018.
PRAGUE, 25–28 JUNE 2018
We are pleased to announce that another Current Research in Egyptology conference will be held in Prague. It be held at the Charles University, Faculty of Arts, Celetná Street 20, Prague.
The topics are not limited, with the focus on Egyptian and Sudanese archaeology, history, philology and religion from Prehistoric to Byzantine Period. Interdisciplinary projects (such as natural sciences, etc.) are also welcome.
Presentations should last max. 20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion, and posters must be in B1 format.
The official language of the conference is English.

The registration fee per participant or per accompanying or visiting person covers the conference kit, four days of paper presentations, tea/coffee breaks, five keynote lectures and a sightseeing tour.
“Early Bird” registration fees: €50 (February 23rd 2018 – March 31th 2018)
Late registration fees: €70 (April 1st 2018 – June 1st 2018)
Accompanying / visiting person: €40 (February 23rd 2018 – June 1st 2018)
All participants must register by June 1st 2018, at the very latest.
There are two possibilities to pay the conference fee:

The time span reserved for every oral presentation is 25 minutes including discussion (20 min. presentation + 5 min. for discussion is recommended).
There will be projector available for .ppt (.pdf) presentation, which is recommended to accompany the lecture.
All posters should be delivered in printed form. It will not be possible to provide large format printing at the faculty.
The size of the posters is limited to max. 70 by 100 cm (limited by the size of the presentation panels). They should be oriented vertically (i.e. the shorter sides on the top and the bottom).
